(More customer reviews)This was my second attempt at purchasing a replacement AC adapter for my ASUS EeePC 1005HA (the first attempt was through NewEgg, and directly contrary to the product description, that adapter was not compatible with this netbook).
This one, purchased through 'power adapter world,' does fit and charge my netbook. Disappointingly, though, it doesn't fit well- the metal metal male end of the cord sticks out about 1/6 of an inch from the edges of the female portion on the computer. I doesn't seem like a sturdy combo, and sure isn't an ideal match. I'll keep the adapter, but only because I've been unable to find an alternative product that is under $60. Hopefully asus will start selling a replacement product themselves soon, but as of 11/15/09 there doesn't seem to be many choices available.
